You give me three minutes, I'll give you a story. A story of Hong Kong people with affection under the Lion's Rock. In the current rapid life and ubiquitous pressure, what Hong Kong people need may not be all kinds of information, but stop their hurried footsteps and feel the people, feelings and things around them. Prof. Moonwing CHEUNG (Moon Sir) breaks down the special taekwondo road test.

Instructor of Taekwondo Moonwing CHEUNG is not afraid of hard work, teaching 󠄁 many students with special learning 󠄁 needs (SEN) to strengthen their bodies and practice love and inclusion in action.

My teaching and learning requirements for SEN students are roughly the same as those of ordinary students, except that the stretching time is extended during the training period. What is the special reason? I will also lead SEN students in general competitions and win many kicking awards!

Moon Sir, HUGO Sir shared with Bro. Andy everything about the past ten years!!! Bro. Andy is a SEN person, and he has been a member of the long-term and middle school. SEN children have encountered difficulties, and have helped SEN friends through taekwondo and luck.

Many parents of SEN children who enrolled in interest classes reflected to him that they often only had one or two classes, and the instructor tactfully said that their children were not suitable for this course. But think deeper, is it the children who are not suitable, or the tutors who don't know how to teach? In view of this, Moon sir will promote sports instructors and tutors to learn how to deal with SEN children, thereby providing more extracurricular activities to stimulate the brain through the body, so that they can have a pleasant childhood like the average child.

Children with special learning needs (SEN) do not mean that all things cannot be done well; as long as there is a suitable environment and suitable methods to cultivate them, they can still shine. If there is a Taekwondo campus, it will become a Taekwondo campus specially designed for young children and the SEN children. The SEN children also receive professional and systematic training.

Moon Sir — Taekwondo Instructor Prof. Moonwing CHEUNG has a burly stature and a voice like a bell. He said that Taekwondo training from small to big made him stand on his own feet. It means that I knew many different students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) due to fate, and I thought of myself in the long-term stage, ‘When I was a child, I was scolded by some people because I always move around. I don’t know why.’ When Moon Sir accepted the interview, he also hugged himself and made himself settle down, ‘Therefore, I am close to the SEN children and accept it, because I think you are about the same as me.’

​28-year-old Calvin Sir, only started babbling at the age of 7. Even though he speaks slower than ordinary people, and his words are wrong, but today he is able to stand in front of the camera, face unfamiliar reporters, and sincerely enjoy his long-lasting experience. No one can underestimate his courage and hard work. When a reporter asked him, ‘Have you ever been in the Olympics?’ He shook his head and said no, not because of his ability, but ‘to participate in the Olympics, you must have a good character.’

More than ten years ago, they had the opportunity to meet SEN (Special Educational Needs) students. ‘At the beginning, I was left with “scare”, and when I went home, it became a responsibility. It turned out that it was very difficult for them to join the interest class, so I was very patient as soon as I followed.’ I hope that the students can make another breakthrough on the road of taekwondo. ‘I will strive for the opportunity to join the Hong Kong team. I don’t want to obliterate their efforts.’

Moon Sir, with a round face, is a taekwondo instructor, known as ‘Moon Sir’. He and his partner Prof. Hugo YU founded Tinshing Dojang (TSDJ), and guided SEN (Special Educational Needs) students with love and love for more than a decade. Sometimes he volunteered for free, and even paid his own money to study for a special education diploma. TSDJ will create a warm home, so that SEN children have the right to study and enjoy different activities like ordinary people.

It is difficult for children with special educational needs (SEN) to find interest classes. A taekwondo instructor Moon Sir set up exclusive classes, so that they can build their self-confidence through sports!

Moon Sir is a caring instructor who has ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) himself, so he teaches students with special needs. Yat Hei YEUNG, who has ADHD like him, was even more educated by him to become a member of the Hong Kong national team! I think we are almost the same as me.
